]]> Mr. Wood and his wife, Jamie, were both born and raised in Nacogdoches. They met while attending Stephen F. Austin State University and were married in 2008. Since then, they have been blessed with two wonderful children who currently attend Òùµ´ÉÙ¸¾. The family has been part of the Regents community since 2019 and have grown to deeply love and support the school’s mission.

Chad is a financial advisor with Pineywoods Financial, bringing a thoughtful and disciplined approach to helping others manage their financial goals. Jamie serves as both a teacher and aide at Òùµ´ÉÙ¸¾, where her passion for education and care for students is clearly seen.

The family are active members of Fredonia Hill Baptist Church, where Chad serves as a deacon. He also enjoys the outdoors, especially scuba diving and spearfishing. However, Chad values spending quality time with his family most of all.

]]> Mr. Parr is a graduate of Texas A&M University and is the husband of Carmen. They have been married for eighteen years and have two boys, both of whom are enrolled at Regents. Mr. Parr is the owner/operator of Chick-fil-A in Nacogdoches as well as the owner of RCP Commercial Holdings.

Ramsey joined the board in 2023. He also serves on the Solid Foundation Board, Grace Bible Church’s Financial and Administration Team, and as a Bus Captain for Glory Gang, a local bus ministry. His family has been members of Grace Bible Church since 2013.

Ramsey enjoys reading, outdoor activities, crossfit, and especially spending time with his family. He loves being a member of the unique and special community of Nacogdoches, Texas.

]]> Mr. Landrum is a 1995 graduate of Covenant College with a BA in history. Since moving his family from Mississippi to Nacogdoches in 2008, he has been active in Grace Covenant Presbyterian Church where he serves as an elder. He has been involved in Life Chain of Nacogdoches and serves on the board of Love INC.

He and his wife Erin have four children, three Regents’ graduates and one currently in high school. He enjoys traveling to see his kids in college, watching high school soccer games and college football, reading, and enjoying the outdoors.

He is the owner of Landworks Landscapes and Hwy 21 Properties.

]]> Mr. Henry is the owner of a water utilities management company called DMC Waterworks and has served on Regents’ board since the beginning of the school’s existence (2001). He is a member and deacon at Grace Covenant Presbyterian Church. His wife Shannon taught math and science at Regents for twenty years and also served in different administrative roles. Together they had three sons, all of whom graduated from Òùµ´ÉÙ¸¾. And together they were one of the five founding families of the school.

]]> Mr. Alders is a sixth generation Texan and a 1985 honors graduate of Texas A&M University (Agricultural Economics). After working for three years in commercial real estate in Dallas, he and his wife, Nicole, returned to his hometown of Nacogdoches to manage his family’s timberland, cattle, and poultry operations.

David began serving on the board of Òùµ´ÉÙ¸¾ in 2002 and also serves on the governing boards of Stephen F. Austin State University, Citizens 1st Bank, Texas Forestry Association, Texas Agricultural Land Trust, Heartbeat Pregnancy Center, Nacogdoches County Farm Bureau, Pineywoods Groundwater Conservation District, and East Texas Regional Water Planning Group. He formerly served on the boards of the State Bar of Texas and New Saint Andrews College. He enjoys travel and reading about theology, economics/finance, and history.

In 1998, David helped found Grace Covenant Presbyterian Church, where he serves as an elder. David and Nicole have ten children and twelve grandchildren.

]]> Dr. Sowell is blessed to be married to Mrs. Lara Sowell, Regents’ primary Latin teacher, and together they were part of the beginning of our school. He had a short stint at the school teaching science labs and coaching basketball.

Dr. Sowell has been practicing podiatry for more than twenty years in the community and serves on other charitable and community boards. He loves reading, art, and travel. He and Mrs. Sowell have had many adventures and he still loves to visit bookstores and art museums. Dr. Sowell also loves playing disc golf in the parks of Nacogdoches and can be seen most Saturday mornings throwing discs at those strange yellow baskets.

He is an active member of Grace Covenant Presbyterian Church and invites you to visit any time you can.
